The hot rolled GB/T 8162Q345B structure pipe is used as raw material for continuous casting slab or primary rolling slab, which is heated by stepping furnace and descaled by high pressure water, and then enters roughing mill. Roughing material goes through cutting head, tail and then into finishing mill for computer-controlled rolling. After the final rolling, it is then cooled by laminar flow and rewound by coiler to become straight hair coil. The head and tail of straight hair roll often show the shape of tongue and fish tail, thickness, width accuracy is poor, the edge often exists wave shape, folded edge, tower shape defects. Its coil weight is heavy, steel coil inner diameter is 760mm. The general pipe industry likes to use it. After the straight hair coil is processed by the finishing line such as cutting head, cutting tail, cutting edge and straightening and leveling for multiple times, then the straight hair coil is cut or rerolled to become: Q345B hot rolled steel plate, flat hot rolled steel coil, longitudinal cut strip and other products.
Q345B Hot rolled pickling coil becomes hot rolled pickling coil if the oxide skin is removed and oiled. The product has the tendency of replacing the cold-rolled structural pipe in part, the price is moderate, and it is favored by the majority of users.
