ASTM A131 Grade FH32 shipbuilding structural steel

Product Introduction

ABS A131 Grade FH32 shipbuilding steel plate can bear the weather corrosion when using to build ships and vessels. When rolling ABS A131 Grade FH32 steel plate, the steel should be chose as full killed and hot rolling.

Ship steel plate A131 Grade FH32 shall be done low temperature impacting test at minus 60 centi degree.

Note: Energy 1 is transverse impact test, Energy 2 is longitudinal

Normalized heat treatment have to be done when the steel billets finished. Low temperature impacting test should be made under minus 60 centigrade.

With a smaller yield strength in shipbuilding steel plates, A131 Grade FH32 steel sheet is mainly used to steel cranes in ship constructions in shipyards,and also cranes in oil and offshore platform.
