The original state of GB/T8162 35CrMo steel tube, namely the delivery state of steel pipe, can be divided into (code in brackets) : cold working/hard (BK), cold working/soft (BKW), stress relieving annealing (BKS), tempering (GBK), normalization (NBK). The commonly used state is the annealed state, which is convenient for subsequent processing.

The properties and general applications of steel tubes of all states are as follows:
Cold-worked/hard (BK) 35CrMo steel tubes are cold-worked through normal or maximum deformation of the finished product, without heat treatment, with the highest dimensional accuracy, the highest tensile strength, the lowest elongation coefficient. Generally used to make motorcycle parts, such as shock absorber slide column.
Cold worked/soft (BKW) 35CrMo steel tubes are produced by cold working with a small amount of deformation, without heat treatment, with the highest dimensional accuracy, higher tensile strength and a certain elongation coefficient (10-15%). Generally used to make car parts.
After cold working stress relief annealing (BKS)35CrMo steel tubes are subjected to low temperature and rapid heat treatment after cold working with higher dimensional accuracy and slightly higher tensile strength and a certain elongation coefficient (over 15%). Generally used for the manufacture of various mechanical parts.
35CrMo steel tubes are normally and completely heat-treated after cold working, with normal dimensional accuracy and normal tensile strength and elongation coefficient (above 20%). Is the most commonly used state, the most widely used.
Normalizing (NBK) is controlled cooling after complete heat treatment after 35CrMo steel tubes cold working, with normal dimensional accuracy and slightly higher tensile strength and elongation coefficient (above 20%). Well tubing is in this state.
