Seamless and welded ASTM A333 steel pipe for low temperature service

ASTM A333 (ASME SA333) is the standard specification for seamless and welded steel pipe for use at low temperature services and other applications with the required notch toughness. There are 9 steel grades for ASTM A333 steel pipe: grade 1, grade 3, grade 4, grade 6, grade 7, grade 8, grade 9, grade 10 and grade 11.

The size of seamless and welded ASTM A333 steel pipe complies to Nominal Dimension standard ASME B36.10M, NPS or outside diameter and schedule number of average thickness. Some pipe sizes may not be available under ASTM A333 standard, because heavier wall thickness have an harmful on impact properties. If the customer has special requirements, it shall follow the supplementary specification in ASTM A333.

Available grades of Seamless and welded ASTM A333 steel pipe for low temperature service:

ASTM A333 grade 11 steel pipe may be produced by welding with or without the addition of filler metal. A333 grade 4 steel pipe shall be made by the seamless process. Other ASTM A333 steel pipes shall be made by the seamless or welding process with the addition of no filler metal in the welding operation.

Seamless and welded ASTM A333 steel pipe is applicable to - 45 ℃ ～ - 195 ℃ low temperature pressure vessel pipeline and A333 seamless steel pipe can also be used for low temperature heat exchanger pipeline.
