The types and features of FBE coating:
There are two kinds of FBE coating: single layer and double layer. FBE coating generally refers to single layer fusion bonded epoxy coating. Single layer FBE coating adopts special fusion bonded epoxy powder coating as film-forming material. The epoxy powder coating is applied by electrostatic spraying technology, and the film is formed once. This kind of epoxy powder coating is a kind of thermosetting coating, which is made of solid epoxy resin, curing agent and a variety of additives by mixing and grinding. The coating process of double-layer fusion bonded epoxy powder coating is relatively simple, and only needs small adjustment on the basis of the original single-layer fusion bonded epoxy powder spraying equipment. That is, the spraying is divided into three groups, the first group sprays the bottom powder, the second group sprays the outer powder, the third group sprays the recovered powder, and the sprayed powder can be recycled separately or together.
The scratch resistance of single-layer FBE is poor, and its constructability is affected. In order to improve the system and overcome the above shortcomings, the double-layer FBE coating anti-corrosion system is adopted. The double-layer FBE coating anti-corrosion system further improves the mechanical properties, enhances the impact resistance, scratch resistance, high-temperature resistance and high-temperature permeability of the coating, while maintaining the compatibility of the single-layer FBE coating and cathodic protection, and will not produce a cathodic protection barrier.
