Product Introduction

16Mo3 steel grade is one of grade in En10028-2, which is non alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties. Due to the materials chrome and molybdenum content, 16Mo3 has excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistant characteristics.

16Mo3 is equivalent to 12Cr1MoV steel in the Chinese standard and belongs to chromium-molybdenum vanadium steel and is mainly used for producing 12Cr1MoV/GB5310 steel pipes. Widely used, it is one of the most used materials in the high temperature range of 480°C~580°C.

EN10028-2 16Mo3 steel 16Mo3 Grade delivery condition is Normalized or normalized and tempered or quenched and tempered.

EN10028-2 16Mo3 steel is used as a weldable steel in the fabrication of industrial boilers and steel pressurized vessels found in the oil, gas and chemical industry.
